Refractive surgery aims to correct errors of refraction in the eye, reducing or eliminating the need for corrective lenses.

LASIK surgery is the most well known vision correcting procedure, however there are other options if LASIK is not suitable for you.

After careful examination a treatment pathway will be discussed with you. The option include phakic intraocular lens implant, surface ablation (no flaps are created), topography guided ablation with cross linking, Wavefront guided laser or clear lens extraction with secondary lens implant.

The various procedures will be discussed with you in detail highlighting the benefits and risk of each.

Screening:

We offer screening, which is a comprehensive eye examination to investigate the condition of your eyes. This is a thorough check-up, that will give you the peace of mind that all potential risks have been quantified and should there be a need for treatment of any problem or disease you will be advised on the best procedure to suit you.

A patient should get a comprehensive eye examination every few years to exclude any visually threatening disorders.
